Liz Treacy is a Senior Associate at trepwise, where she supports and manages client engagements in the for-profit, nonprofit, and public sector. Her work includes primary research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, deliverable development, and client communications. She also works closely with the Director of Impact and Planning to support the growth of trepwise internally. Liz manages key aspects of trepwise’s financial operations and continually designs and improves the firm’s internal data systems.
Prior to trepwise, Liz worked as the Finance and Data Manager at Liberty’s Kitchen, a youth workforce development nonprofit and café based in New Orleans. In her role, Liz designed, built, and implemented a data system for outcomes tracking and logistics for the youth program. Additionally, she joined the finance team, and worked closely with operations and development to improve their tools and processes. Before that, Liz worked at Moody’s Analytics in New York City as an Associate Financial Engineer, where she did substantial database management for one of their structured finance teams and helped design their finance portal software product.
Liz is originally from a small town near Durham, North Carolina. She went on to graduate with honors from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in English and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mechatronics. Wanting to bring her data skills to a place rooted in community, Liz moved to New Orleans through Venture for America, a national fellowship that connects recent college graduates to startups in cities with emerging entrepreneurial ecosystems. Liz aspires to continue blending her love for people, data, and systems within her career at trepwise.
When she’s not working at trepwise, Liz loves to rock climb, bike around the city, eat dumplings, and read. She also proudly serves on the board of Grow Dat Youth Farm in New Orleans.
