Lulu Carter is an Associate at trepwise, where she is responsible for supporting all facets of client engagements, helping ensure that all projects are executed to the highest quality. Joining trepwise’s cross-functional client teams, Lulu provides primary research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and project management. She also works closely with the Director of Growth in pursuing opportunities and partnerships for trepwise, and is a member of the internal Equity Task Force, focused on creating and executing the firm’s strategy to support equity in our work and across New Orleans.
Prior to joining the firm full-time in 2017, Lulu interned for trepwise the previous year. She has also interned with the New Orleans-based social impact accelerator Propeller, where she supported the executive director in conducting an ecosystem assessment of top performing accelerators across the United States. Lulu helped launch the community-based polling platform College Pulse, which now reaches college students across the country and is engaged in its first round of funding.
Lulu graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in History and supporting work in American poetry, Arabic language, and gender studies. As an undergraduate, Lulu held multiple research assistant positions with professors at the Tuck School of Business and the Department of History. She was the first student programming assistant with the Dartmouth Entrepreneurship Network (now the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship), where she was responsible for supporting the College’s students, faculty, alumni, and community members in pursuing their entrepreneurial endeavors.
Lulu hails from New Hampshire, where she ran her family’s organic blueberry farm for ten years before moving to the Big Easy. She spends her free time visiting art installations around the city, running, reading, and traveling.
