Introducing trepwise’s CSR Program: trepwork for good

Trepwise

trepwise’s vision depicts thriving communities where good ideas spread. We believe that good ideas can come from anywhere, but we also know that there are barriers that prevent all ideas from spreading equally. Across race and ethnicity, gender and sexual identity, geography and zoning, New Orleanians face grave inequities in economic and social inclusion.

Each organization and individual has something to offer in the effort to overcome inequities. At trepwise, we are focusing our capabilities through our new corporate social responsibility program, trepwork for good. Through trepwork for good we will harness our resources – financial, social, and intellectual – in service of our community so that we can promote greater economic and social inclusion across the city.

This work manifests in several key initiatives of our firm: in-kind services, financial sponsorships, firm-wide volunteer days, and employee matching gifts. Beyond traditional philanthropic avenues, trepwork for good features a pro bono component that expands access to business support services for entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders who are resource limited.

Early pro bono program participants include Sister Hearts and the LGBT Community Center of New Orleans who received direct consulting support for their organizations. We have also partnered with social impact accelerator programs, including Propeller and Fund 17, to provide capacity-building support at scale to entrepreneurs across the city.

We are launching trepwork for good because we believe that it is our responsibility to utilize our resources and skills to support individuals and organizations who have been historically denied full economic and social inclusion. This program adds additional structure and intentionality to our philanthropic and pro bono work so that our services can reach a broad array of individuals and organizations who may not have access otherwise.

We hope to reach individuals and organizations of all stages of growth through this program. If you or an organization you know would be interested in receiving services through the trepwork for good program, contact Palmer Mills at palmer@trepwise.com.
