Palmer Mills is an Advisor at Trepwise, where she leads and provides strategic support across a variety of client engagements and internal initiatives.
Palmer has worked with more than 50 clients during her tenure at Trepwise, including culture planning for the 500+ staff of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, research, planning, and execution for the New Orleans Food Security Task Force in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and regularly designing and facilitating in person or virtual experiences for hundreds of participants. Palmer also co-manages the firm’s corporate social responsibility program, Trepwork for Good.
Prior to joining Trepwise, Palmer worked with a variety of nonprofits in New Orleans that provide support for adults and youth who were formerly incarcerated and/or experiencing homelessness. Through her roles at Covenant House, Eden House, and the ACLU of Louisiana, Palmer brings experience in both behind-the-scenes capacity building and client facing direct-care, including marketing, communications, donor cultivation, fundraising events, research, data analysis, and program design and execution.
Palmer graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University with a triple major in Political Science, Sociology, and English. Prior to attending Tulane, Palmer majored in dance at a performing arts high school in Houston. She has kept dance close to her heart and is currently active in the New Orleans Latin Dance and contemporary dance communities. She has performed locally with Mélange Dance Company and ELLEvate Dance Company. When she’s not dancing, you can find Palmer outside — whether it’s by the bayou, exploring a national park, or just enjoying the New Orleans sun.
