Standardizing Vision and Value to Scale Impact Across Louisiana

In 2022, the Center for Planning Excellence engaged Trepwise to develop a 5-year plan on how to build on their successful work in communities across Louisiana. In particular, CPEX had questions around standardizing their unique methodology, balancing their diversified revenue streams, and communicating their value proposition to a diverse group of stakeholders.

Trepwise conducted an interactive process, bringing together staff and board members to chart a course for the organization’s future. We co-created a new organizational mission and developed a Theory of Change that articulated CPEX’s proprietary model around helping communities deepen their understanding of the places they live and bring their unique visions to life, all supported by a sequenced action plan for near-term delivery.

Results

As a result, CPEX 5-year plan has set them on the course for continued expansion and impact. The organization continues to partner with Trepwise as their go-to retreat facilitators and organizational strengthening coaches, including an all-staff retreat at the beginning of 2025.
