Solution
As part of our process, we engaged approximately 800 individuals, including experts in childhood adversity, service providers, and community members across the state via interviews, focus groups, and a statewide survey. We then synthesized their insights on current efforts, gaps, and needs and identified initial priorities for the plan and implications for plan development. Our team was then asked to design and facilitate a statewide convening with approximately 60 attendees, hosted by the First Lady of Louisiana and attended by sector leaders, experts in childhood adversity, service providers, and community advocates.
Results
We facilitated a day-long agenda focused on creating alignment around plan vision, further refining priorities, and collecting additional insights around plan development and future implementation.
